ABOUT ME | LOUIS WONG
Media production is an art, a craft, a service, and a serial process; but the singular underlying commonality in those denotations is that it captures perspective. I love what I do because it grants me the power to rescue those moments for posterity.
I have extensive experience in freelance and volunteer media production spanning nine years. My clients are largely SMEs and educational institutions. My most recent milestones include:
-
Judge of the Royal Geographical Society Hong Kong photo competition, 2021, '22, '23, '24
-
Best Drama at Across Asia Youth Film Festival, founded by Disney, HBO, and Mediacorp, 2019
-
Press Corps Director for HK Model United Nations, leading 30 photojournalists, 2019, '20
-
Director of the Canadian Int'l School of HK Photography Team of 50 photographers, 2018, '19
-
Finalist image for Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year, young category, 2017
I am currently studying the exciting intersection of communication and data at the University of Southern California, and I will graduate with a BA in Communication and MS in Communication Data Science in 2024. In my spare time, I work a full-time job at Creative Artists Agency.
Please enjoy my selection of work, and don't hesitate to reach out to me!
